Are you a manager or a site supervisor in the construction industry, or considering putting yourself forward for such a role, or aspiring to, or want to reach the next level in your career with our range of innovative short courses for experienced, transitioning and first-time leaders? 

Reconstructing Minds and the University of Hertfordshire are collaborating to bring you this training course, which brings the theories in to working practice.

The two day training course is designed to enable delegates to develop knowledge and understanding of using leadership and management skills to ensure safety, quality requirements and appropriate standards of behaviour are met when delivering projects and work plans as required by a practising or potential team leader or site supervisor.  This course will enable you to develop deep insights, skills and styles to influence and inspire others, and drive performance in your organisation.  Be equipped with the knowledge, tools and confidence you need to step up.

The course at a high level will cover:

  • roles and responsibilities of a site supervisor or team leader
  • the differences between leadership and management and the relationship between the two
  • quality management in site management
  • the importance of health and safety in site management

At the end of day two candidates will undertake a short multiple choice question paper, successful complete will result in a CPD certificate.
